KANN "whether" oder "if" auch beginnend stehen, d.h. beim inneren Monolog?

Englische Sätze können mit If oder Whether beginnen, aber nicht dein Beispielsatz.
"Ob er wohl kommt?" heißt etwa "Will he come?" oder "I wonder if he will come here".
Sätze, die mit whether oder if beginnen:
Whether you like it or not, you have to take that test.
Whether my cell phone works there, is a mystery to me.

Sorry, die Kommas in den letzten beiden Sätzen sind falsch.

Ah,ok, also rein im Sinne einer Satzumstellung.

Das würde im inneren Monolog wohl einfach nur heißen: "Will he come?
